Social Video Portfolio — Where We Are Today
Being direct about this: we don’t yet have a library of finished short-form video examples to show here. A general “coached headshot beats a selfie” video previously appeared on this page — it’s about photography, not social video, and we’ve removed it rather than leave it as a stand-in for work we haven’t produced yet.
What this means right now: on a discovery call, we can walk through the production setup, the coaching approach, and exactly what a session includes, and scope your first shoot around a specific deliverable. What we’re building next: a small set of real, permission-cleared short-form examples — a LinkedIn piece, a Reel, a Short — added here as they’re completed. If you’re an early client, ask about a reduced first-session rate in exchange for permission to feature the finished clips here.
What This Service Is
Social media video production is planned, recorded and edited short-form video, built for the platforms where you actually post: LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, your website, email, and sales pages. It’s different from Personal Brand Videography, which covers longer, single-purpose pieces like a founder story, an About-page video, or a website hero video; and different from Executive Videography, which is scoped to leadership messaging, interviews and recruiting content. This page is specifically about shorter, platform-adapted clips — produced individually or in a batch.
We don’t promise follower growth, viral reach, leads, bookings, or algorithmic preference. What we do is plan, light, record, coach, and edit clips that are genuinely ready to publish — and hand them back to you organized by platform and format.
Who This Is For
- Entrepreneurs and small-business owners
- Consultants and coaches
- Realtors and real-estate teams
- Attorneys and physicians
- Speakers and authors
- Executives building thought leadership
- Content creators
- Professional-service firms
- Marketing teams needing a production partner
If you’re not sure which service fits, a quick way to think about it: a single defining video about who you are → Personal Brand Videography. Leadership or recruiting messaging → Executive Videography. A steady stream of shorter clips for social platforms → this page.
Real Coaching, Every Session
Every session includes real-time coaching from Peter Szpakowski — checking framing, expression, and delivery as you go. This is a genuine behind-the-scenes moment from a coached content session at our NRH studio, not a staged stock photo.

One-Time Session or Ongoing Production
One-Time Social Video Session
Good for testing short-form video before committing to a cadence, building an initial content library, promoting a launch, recording an educational series in one sitting, updating your website and profiles, or producing several clips around one topic. No ongoing commitment required.
Recurring Production
Good for businesses that publish consistently, have changing offers or seasonal topics, or want a scheduled production day on the calendar instead of scrambling for content. Our monthly retainer is typically scoped for 8-15 short-form pieces from a single 2-3 hour batched session — see Branding Packages Package 6 for the current structure. Bi-monthly and quarterly cadences are also available for lower-output needs.
Neither option is the “right” one by default — a one-time session is a legitimate way to build a starting library and see if the format works for you before considering an ongoing cadence.
Types of Short-Form Video We Produce
Exact length and format are confirmed in your proposal — these are the categories we plan around.
LinkedIn Native Video
Talking-head or interview-led pieces for a professional audience — commentary, a lesson, an announcement.
Instagram Reels
Vertical, fast-paced clips — a tip, a quick story, a moment from your work.
YouTube Shorts
Vertical clips built to stand alone, often pulled from a longer answer or explanation.
TikTok Content
Conversational, vertical clips edited for that platform’s pacing and captions.
Educational Clips
A single lesson or answer per clip — good for building a topic library over time.
Website / Sales-Page Clips
A short video for a landing page or offer page — horizontal or square, edited for that placement.
Podcast Promo Clips
Pulled from a recorded interview or podcast appearance and reformatted for social.
Behind-the-Scenes Clips
A glimpse of your work or process — useful for variety inside a content library.
Photo + Video Hybrid
Video paired with stills in the same session. See Content Creation Photography.
How Batching Works
Batching means recording several clips in one production session instead of scheduling a separate shoot for each piece. For recurring clients, a single 2-3 hour session is typically enough to produce a month’s worth of short-form clips, which we edit and deliver over the following days rather than all at once. Batching can make production noticeably easier and more consistent for you — one calendar block instead of several — but we won’t tell you it’s the only way to do this, or that it guarantees a particular publishing outcome. Some clients prefer shorter, more frequent individual sessions instead, and that’s a legitimate way to work too.
Topic Planning: What You Bring, What We Help With
You know your business better than we do, so the subject-matter expertise, accurate claims, offers, audience knowledge, any regulatory approval your industry requires, brand voice, and final message approval stay with you. Before your session, a planning call covers your goals and topics for the month or the shoot; you bring the expertise, and we help organize it into filmable pieces.
Where we can help: organizing topics into a shoot-day order, drafting interview questions, suggesting a few hook options for how a piece opens, structuring a video so it holds together, refining on-camera phrasing for clarity, and building in visual variety across a batch. This isn’t full-service social media strategy — content publishing, hashtag strategy, and community management aren’t part of this service unless we specifically agree to add them.
The 2MM Method™ On Camera
The 2MM Method™ is real-time coaching on posture, eye line, facial expression, pacing, and conversational delivery — the same coaching approach we use in photography sessions, applied to short-form video. On shoot day that means multiple takes, natural pauses, and direction that helps you sound like yourself instead of over-rehearsed. It can help you look more comfortable and deliver more concise, natural answers — it doesn’t guarantee a particular audience response, engagement level, or confidence outcome, and it isn’t scriptwriting or media training.

Production Setup
Every session includes professional lighting and audio — not a phone propped on a stack of books. We record vertical (9:16), and where a piece calls for it, square (1:1) or horizontal (16:9) framing, at our NRH studio or on location at your office or another approved DFW spot. A teleprompter is available on request — ask during planning to confirm it for your session.
Editing and Deliverables
Every clip is edited with color correction, sound cleanup, on-screen captions, and a cover frame you can use as the platform thumbnail. Motion graphics and licensed music are available where they fit the piece. Final clips are delivered publish-ready — cut, captioned, and sized for the platform you’re posting to — organized by format so you’re not left guessing which file goes where. Exact clip count, aspect-ratio variants, and revision rounds are confirmed in your proposal; not every clip needs a vertical, square, and horizontal version, since reframing changes the composition and isn’t automatic.
Raw footage is available on request — ask during planning about availability and any additional cost. We don’t currently offer publishing, scheduling, caption-writing for your posts, community management, or analytics reporting as part of this service; if you’d like help with any of those, tell us and we’ll scope it separately or point you to the right resource.

Where the Editing Happens
Photo and video sessions are finished in the same NRH studio workflow — reviewed, color-corrected, and organized before anything is delivered. This is our actual in-studio editing station, not a stock photo.
Platform Formats
General guidance as of August 2026 — platform specifications change, and we reconfirm current guidance before final export rather than relying on what was true when this page was written.
- Vertical (9:16) — the standard for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok; typically exported around 1080×1920.
- Square (1:1) — useful for feed posts and some ad placements; around 1080×1080.
- Horizontal (16:9) — for YouTube, website embeds, and landing pages; around 1920×1080.
- Captions — burned-in captions are included by default since most social video is watched without sound; a safe-zone margin keeps text clear of platform UI overlays (profile icons, buttons, captions bars).
- Cover frame — a specific frame or custom cover image is selected for platforms that support a thumbnail choice.
Not every video needs to exist in all three ratios — we’ll talk through which formats your piece actually needs during planning.
Pairing Video With Content Photography
Many clients pair a video session with still photography in the same visit — consistent wardrobe, consistent location, and shared preparation mean more usable content from one scheduled session. Stills are also useful as thumbnails, feed posts, and cover images alongside your video clips. See Content Creation Photography for the recurring-photo side and Branding Packages for the combined structures — scope with us in advance rather than assuming a single short session covers a full month of both photo and video output.
Process and Timeline
- Planning call — goals, topics, one-time or recurring, platform focus.
- Pre-production — topic order, questions or talking points, wardrobe and location.
- Production day — recording with 2MM Method™ coaching, typically 2-3 hours for a batched session.
- Editing — color, sound, captions, cover frames, and any graphics or music.
- Delivery — publish-ready files organized by platform and format.
Pricing and Deliverables
Social video is custom-quoted, because scope varies with one-time vs. recurring commitment, recording duration, number of final clips, clip length, number of participants, locations, script or topic support, B-roll, captions, graphics, music, aspect-ratio variants, revision rounds, whether photography is paired in, travel, and turnaround time. The monthly retainer is typically scoped for 8-15 short-form clips from one batched session — see Branding Packages Package 6 for the current retainer structure and Package 4 for the photo-led option with a smaller video allotment. Tell us your platform focus and goals and we’ll send a written proposal.
A note on terms: when we say “publish-ready,” we mean edited, captioned, and sized correctly for the platform — not that we handle the actual posting. “Captions” means on-screen burned-in text within the video, not a written social-media caption for your post description (we can help draft those on request, but they’re not automatically included).
What Clients Say
Testimonial placeholder — a real, verified quote from a social-video client will be added here. No follower growth, views, leads, or booking outcomes are implied until a genuine, permission-cleared quote and case study are available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I book just one social-video session?
Yes. A one-time session is a normal way to start — test the format, build an initial clip library, or cover a launch — with no ongoing commitment required.
Do I need a monthly retainer?
No. Recurring production fits businesses that publish consistently and want a scheduled production day, but plenty of clients book individual sessions as needed instead.
How many clips come out of a session?
Depends on scope. The monthly retainer is typically scoped for 8-15 short-form clips from one 2-3 hour session; a one-time session’s clip count is scoped to what you need. We’ll confirm the number in your proposal.
How long are the final videos?
Most short-form clips run roughly 15-90 seconds depending on platform and topic — we’ll confirm target lengths during planning.
Do I need a script?
No. Sessions can be scripted, interview-led, or a mix. Interview-led is often more comfortable — we ask questions off-camera and edit your natural answers into the piece.
Can you help me choose topics?
Yes — a pre-shoot planning call covers your goals and topics, and we help organize them into a filmable order. The subject-matter expertise and final message are still yours.
Are captions included?
Yes — on-screen burned-in captions are included on delivered clips by default. Written social-media post captions are a separate, optional add-on.
Are cover frames or thumbnails included?
Yes — a cover frame is selected for each clip as part of editing.
Do you publish the videos or write my post captions?
Not by default. We deliver edited, publish-ready files; posting, scheduling, and platform captions stay with you unless we’ve specifically agreed to add that scope.
Which platforms do you produce for?
LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, and video for your website, email, or sales pages.
Can you record vertical video? What about square or horizontal?
Yes to all three. We’ll confirm which formats your specific clips need — not every piece needs all three versions.
Can photography be captured in the same session?
Often, yes. See Content Creation Photography and Branding Packages for how photo and video pair together.
Where do sessions happen?
Our NRH studio, your office, or another DFW location with permission.
What if I’m uncomfortable on camera?
That’s what the 2MM Method™ coaching is for — multiple takes, natural pauses, and direction to help you sound like yourself. Most clients find it easier after the first few takes.
How do revisions work, and is raw footage available?
Revision rounds are confirmed in your proposal. Raw footage is available on request — ask during planning about availability and any additional cost.
What affects pricing?
One-time vs. recurring, recording duration, clip count and length, participants, locations, script/topic support, captions, graphics, music, aspect-ratio variants, revisions, and whether photography is paired in.
