“I walked in convinced I was not photogenic. I left with headshots I actually love.”

— Beth S., DFW Professional

Most of our clients say the same thing before they walk in. They leave wondering why they waited so long.

Do You Actually Need a New Headshot?

Answer 5 quick questions. Takes about 60 seconds — no email required.

1. When was your current headshot or main profile photo taken?

2. Has your role, title, company, or appearance changed since that photo?

3. How was your current photo actually taken?

4. If a recruiter, reporter, or new client looked you up right now, would this photo make the right impression?

5. Where does this photo actually show up?

Please answer all 5 questions first.

Who Individual Headshots Are For

Every working professional in DFW who needs to show up confidently on a screen, a page, or a name badge.

LinkedIn Refresh →

Your current photo is years old or a selfie. Time for a profile image that earns the click and the connection request.

Promotion or New Role →

Just got promoted or started somewhere new. Your headshot should match your title — not who you were three years ago.

Active Job Search

Recruiters form impressions in under 100 milliseconds. A coached, recruiter-ready portrait changes who reaches out first.

Executive Presence →

C-suite, board, IR, proxy statement, annual report, or speaker bio. The portrait that anchors the authority page needs to hold up.

Realtor / Agent →

Your face is on every yard sign, MLS listing, and brokerage directory. Warm, luxury, TREC-compliant, brokerage-template-matched.

Attorney →

Firm bio, bar directory, Martindale-Hubbell. TX Bar Rule 7.04-compliant. Matches the gravitas your practice actually carries.

Physician / Provider →

Hospital system directory, Healthgrades, Vitals, D Magazine Best Doctors. HIPAA-aware, FTC-compliant, no AI generation.

Financial Advisor →

FINRA/SEC compliance-ready for bio pages, Schwab Advisor Services, Fidelity, BrokerCheck, and client-facing materials.

Entrepreneur / Founder →

Your face is the brand. Personal branding sessions for founders, coaches, consultants, and fractional executives building an audience.

Speaker or Author

Conference speaker bio, TEDx, book jacket, podcast artwork, media kit. The portrait that matches the authority of the work.

Career Switcher

Pivoting industries or starting a new chapter. Wardrobe and coaching tuned to where you’re going, not where you’ve been.

Company Website Bio →

Team page, about page, leadership directory. Your portrait on the company website reflects on the organization — not just you.

You’re Not the Problem. The Absence of Coaching Is.

If any of these sound familiar, you’re exactly who this session is built for.

“I’m not photogenic”

You’ve never been coached. The camera isn’t the problem. Within ten minutes of real-time direction, the expression you’ve always had but never seen in photos starts to show up.

“I don’t know how to pose”

You don’t need to. The 2MM Method coaches every element — where your eyes land, how your jaw relaxes, what your shoulders do — frame by frame, in real time. Nothing is left to guesswork.

“I hate every photo of me”

That’s the most common thing people say walking in. We have not yet had a client who left without at least one image they were proud to put on LinkedIn.

“I just need something decent”

“Decent” costs you the click, the intro, and the first impression. For the same time investment, you can have a portrait that actually builds confidence and trust the moment someone sees it.

“My smile always looks fake in photos”

A fake smile is the most recognizable expression in photography — and the one most photographers accidentally produce by telling you to smile. The 2MM Method coaches the micro-expression that produces genuine relaxed confidence, not a posed grin. Most clients are surprised by how natural they look once the coaching takes hold.

“I’m afraid I’ll spend the money and hate the photos”

Valid concern — especially if you’ve had bad headshot experiences before. Our tethered monitor means you see every frame live and select your favorites before you leave. You don’t pay and hope. You see the file, approve it, and take it home same day.

Photographer Peter Szpakowski coaching an individual client through expression and posture during a headshot session at 2mm Headshots in North Richland Hills, Texas

The 2MM Method™ — Coaching, Not Posing

A great headshot is a game of millimeters. The proprietary 2MM Method™ coaches the precise two-millimeter shifts in expression and posture that turn camera-tense into the composed, confident presence your work and your career actually deserve.

Photographer Peter Szpakowski trained under Peter Hurley and has coached more than 30,000 professionals since 2008. Instead of setting you in a pose and hoping it works, he adjusts you frame by frame on the tethered 4K monitor until the expression looks natural and the portrait actually looks like you on your best day.

  • You don’t need to know how to pose
  • You see every frame live — no surprises after the fact
  • You leave with photos you’re actually comfortable using
  • No stiff posing, no guessing, no “what do I do with my face?”

“Most headshot photographers rely on posing. We rely on coaching.” — Peter Szpakowski

Why Most Headshots Fail — and What We Do Differently

Most photographers are technically competent. The problem isn’t the camera — it’s everything that doesn’t happen before the shutter clicks.

Princeton research confirms trustworthiness judgments form in 100 milliseconds from a face alone. Posing doesn’t produce trust. Coaching the genuine expression does.

Built for Real People, Not Models

Most of our clients aren’t models or actors. They’re executives, attorneys, founders, and professionals who just want a photo that doesn’t feel awkward — and finally gives them something they’re proud to use.

One session can cover a formal blazer look for your LinkedIn and firm bio, a smart-casual open-collar look for your website and social media, and an optional branded or industry-specific third wardrobe. Bring 2–3 options on a hanger and we help you choose in the room.

You don’t need to “be good at photos.” You just need the right coaching.

Three different wardrobe looks of the same individual from a single 2mm Headshots session — formal blazer, smart casual, and branded polo, demonstrating the multi-look package value

Q: I’ve never had a professional headshot before. Is this intimidating?

A: No. Most people who walk in have never sat in front of a professional camera before, and most of them think they “do not photograph well.” Within five minutes of coaching, they realize that the camera is not the problem — they have just never been coached. The 2MM Method is built around that exact experience. We will tell you exactly what to do with your eyes, your jaw, and your shoulders frame by frame until the portrait actually looks like you on your best day.

Q: Can I get more than one look in a single session?

A: Yes — and most clients do. The same session can cover a formal blazer look for your LinkedIn profile and firm bio, a smart-casual open-collar look for your website about page and social media, and an optional branded polo or third wardrobe for company-specific use. Bring 2–3 wardrobe options on a hanger; we coach you through quick changes between setups.

Q: Where can I actually use the headshot?

A: Everywhere you need to show up professionally. LinkedIn profile and Sales Navigator, your company bio page, your firm or department website, your resume header, your business card, your email signature, a conference speaker bio, a podcast episode artwork, your dating profile if that is in play, board nominations, press releases, and the company directory. Every session delivers a square crop for LinkedIn (1200×1200), a tight bio crop, and a wider press crop — color-matched across all of them.

Composite showing one individual professional headshot rendered across multiple use cases — LinkedIn profile circle, website about page, conference speaker badge, business card corner, and resume header

One file. Every surface you need to show up on.

LinkedIn profile circle. Sales Navigator photo. Company directory headshot. Website about page hero. Conference speaker badge. Business card corner. Email signature thumbnail. Resume header. Press release photo. Board nomination submission. Podcast episode artwork. Every professional surface that requires your face — covered by the same session.

Delivered as a square crop for LinkedIn (1200×1200), a tight bio crop for company directories and firm pages, and a wider press crop for any publication or speaker bio context. Color-matched so you read as the same person across every platform.

Q: I don’t see anyone who looks like me in headshot portfolios. Will this work for me?

A: Yes. The 2MM Method has coached early-career professionals, late-career operators, working parents reentering the workforce, career-switchers, immigrants and first-generation professionals, plus-size professionals, neurodivergent operators, professionals with glasses, beards, head coverings, and every demographic across the DFW metroplex. The coaching adapts to the person in front of the camera — your portrait will look like you, not like a corporate stock-photo template forced over your face.

Q: How fast can I have the file in hand?

A: Same business day for individual sessions booked before noon. You can leave the studio with the finished file already on your phone and in your inbox — ready to upload to LinkedIn, attach to your resume, or send to your firm marketing team. For sessions booked after noon, next-business-morning delivery is standard, and same-day is available on request.

What to Bring to Your Session

You will receive a full wardrobe prep guide when you book. Here is the short version so you know what to expect.

Wardrobe

  • 2–3 outfits on hangers (we help you choose)
  • Solid colors — navy, charcoal, burgundy, deep blue, forest green
  • A well-fitted blazer almost always works
  • Avoid busy patterns, shiny fabrics, loud logos
  • Branded polo or company shirt if relevant to your role

Grooming

  • Haircut 1–2 weeks before (not the day before)
  • Arrive rested and hydrated — it shows in the eyes
  • Natural makeup is always a safe choice
  • Hair and makeup artists available on request — ask when you book
  • Glasses are fine — we adjust lighting to eliminate glare

Day-of Mindset

  • You do not need to know how to pose — we handle all of it
  • Arrive 5 minutes early to settle in
  • Tell us your industry and where the photo will be used
  • Ask questions — we are coaching you the whole time
  • Most clients are relaxed within 10 minutes of starting

Every age, every career stage, every demographic

Working professionals in DFW are increasingly diverse — different ages, different backgrounds, different industries, different career stages. The visual portfolios most headshot studios put on their websites do not reflect that reality. We have deliberately built a portfolio that does. Early-career marketing managers in Plano. Mid-career engineers in Las Colinas. Late-career founders in Highland Village. Working parents reentering the workforce. Career-switchers from one industry to the next. The 2MM Method works because the coaching adapts to the person in front of the camera, not the other way around.

Bring whatever you bring. We will photograph the version of you that you want the world to see.

What Changes After Your Session

The session is 30–45 minutes. The outcomes last years. Here is what DFW professionals consistently report after updating their professional photo.

More recruiter and LinkedIn activity

LinkedIn profiles with professional photos get 14x more views and 36x more InMail. A polished, current headshot can help your profile feel more active and create a stronger first impression for the people who view it.

Faster trust in first meetings

Financial advisors, attorneys, physicians, and realtors consistently report that clients arrive at first consultations already at ease — because the professional they expected matches the person in the room. The photo set the expectation correctly.

Greater confidence in using your own image

The most consistent thing clients report is that they actually want to use the photo — on LinkedIn, on their bio, in speaker submissions, in pitch decks. When you like the image, you use it everywhere. That’s the real ROI.

A photo that works for years, not weeks

A well-coached, well-lit, naturally retouched portrait holds up for 2–3 years. It doesn’t age the way a selfie ages. It doesn’t get flagged the way an AI portrait gets flagged. It just works — on every platform, at every size, in every professional context.

Coached vs Selfie vs AI Individual Headshot

All three options. Only one will hold up next to your competitors’ profiles.

Coached 2MM Method™

Real coaching. Real lighting. Editorial-grade retouching. The warm, confident, current version of you that earns the click, the connection request, and the introduction.

Selfie / Phone Photo

Wrong lens. Ceiling lighting. No coaching. Casual energy on a professional surface. Reads as “this profile is dormant” — even when you’re not.

AI Headshot Generator

Not actually you. Subtly wrong in skin, eyes, ears, jewelry, clothing. Creates a credibility gap when prospects meet the real you in the first meeting.

Why 2MM for Individual Headshots

Coaching is the work

The 2MM Method is real-time expression coaching, not “stand here and smile.” You will look like you on a great day, not like a stock-photo template forced onto your face.

Same-day delivery

Book before noon. Leave with the finished file already on your phone. Upload to LinkedIn, attach to the resume, send to the firm marketing team — all before close of business.

Individual Headshot FAQs

How much does an individual headshot session cost?

Individual sessions at 2MM Headshots are $150 for the session fee plus $150 per fully retouched final image. Most clients select 1 to 3 images. You only pay for the finals you choose — there is no hidden package fee or minimum image count. The Essential Edge package covers a la carte single images at $150 each, the Professional Portfolio bundles 5 retouched finals at $750, and the Legacy Identity delivers 10 retouched finals at $1,350 — a discounted per-image rate on the larger packages.

How long does the session take?

Most individual sessions run 20 to 60 minutes, depending on how many outfits you bring. A single-outfit session typically takes 20 to 25 minutes from start to finish, including coaching warm-up, the shoot, and selecting your favorites on the tethered monitor with the photographer in the room. Each additional outfit adds about 5 to 10 minutes for a quick wardrobe change and another round of coached shots.

Do I need to know how to pose?

No. The entire point of the 2MM Method is that you do not need prior camera experience. We coach you in real time — specific adjustments to your eyes, jaw, posture, and breath — until the expression looks natural and confident. Every client who has ever said ‘I am not photogenic’ has left with photos they were proud of. The coaching is the session.

What if I’m not photogenic?

‘Not photogenic’ is what happens when no one coaches your expression. It is not a permanent condition. The 2MM Method has worked for 30,000+ professionals who said the same thing walking in. Within ten minutes of real-time direction — precise adjustments to your eyes, jaw, and shoulders — the expression that felt impossible to capture in candid photos starts showing up on camera. We have not yet had a client who left without at least one image they were proud to use.

Do you help with posing?

Yes — but we call it coaching, not posing, because posing implies a static position we put you in. We coach you continuously throughout the session. Every frame is an active adjustment: where your eyes land, how much your jaw relaxes, how your breath changes your shoulders. Nothing is left on autopilot. You respond to real-time direction and see the results immediately on the tethered studio monitor.

What should I wear?

Solid colors photograph best — navy, charcoal, deep blue, burgundy, forest green, or soft white. Avoid busy patterns, loud logos, and shiny fabrics. A well-fitted blazer almost always reads as professional and confident regardless of industry. We send you a one-page wardrobe guide tailored to your industry and audience when you book — so you arrive prepared, not stressed.

Can I change outfits during the session?

Yes — and most clients do. The same session can cover a formal blazer look for LinkedIn and firm bios, a smart-casual open-collar look for website and social media, and an optional branded or industry-specific third option. Bring everything on hangers and we coach you through quick changes between setups. No extra charge for multiple looks.

How many wardrobe changes can I bring?

Most clients bring 2 to 3 options. We coach you through quick changes between setups so you can cover a formal blazer look for LinkedIn and firm bios, a smart-casual open-collar look for website and social media, and an optional branded or industry-specific third option. Bring everything on hangers and we will help you decide in the room.

When will I receive my finished images?

Same business day for sessions booked before noon — you can leave with the finished retouched file already on your phone and in your inbox. For sessions booked after noon, next-business-morning delivery is standard. Rush same-day delivery is available on request for any session. Files are delivered via AirDrop, QR scan, email, and a private gallery link.

What file formats and crops are included?

Every session delivers a high-resolution square crop for LinkedIn (1200×1200), a tight bio crop for company directories and firm pages, and a wider press crop for publications, speaker bios, and media kits. Files are delivered as JPEGs, at least 2048 pixels on the long edge and roughly 4MB each — suitable for prints up to 8×10. If you’re planning to print larger than that, just let me know and I’ll provide the file in the correct size and format. All crops are color-matched so you read as the same person across every platform. Additional crop formats can be requested at no extra charge.

Can I get my photos retouched to look natural, not over-processed?

Yes — we specialize in retouching that does not look overly retouched, and every image is personally retouched by Peter, never outsourced. We remove temporary blemishes, soften under-eye fatigue, and balance color and tone. We never alter your bone structure, smooth away all texture, or apply heavy filters. The goal is for you to look natural and confident — not plastic, and not like a stock photo. We will never send you a file that does not look like you.

Is the studio easy to get to from Dallas, Fort Worth, or the suburbs?

Yes. The 2MM Headshots studio is at 8713 Airport Fwy, Suite 314, North Richland Hills, TX 76180 — geographic center of the DFW metroplex. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, 25 to 30 minutes from downtown Dallas, and 15 to 25 minutes from most Mid-Cities, Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville, and Las Colinas locations. Free on-site parking, third-floor studio entrance.

What if I hate every photo ever taken of me?

That is exactly who this session is built for. Most clients who book individual headshots have been avoiding professional photography for years because they are convinced the camera does not like them. Within the first 10 minutes of coaching, almost every one of them realizes the problem was never them — it was the absence of real-time expression direction. We have not yet had a client who left without at least one image they were proud to use.

What is your satisfaction guarantee?

Our guarantee is 100% fun and satisfaction. My goal in every session is not just to hand you a photo — it’s to build your confidence in front of the camera while giving you the best image of yourself.

What is the studio actually like?

Cozy and relaxing the moment you walk in. The furniture, color scheme, and wall accents are chosen to give the space a top-notch, executive feel — parts of the studio are bright and airy, others are dark and dramatic, and both lighting styles are designed to bring out a sense of power in your portraits. One of my favorite touches is the autograph wall: at the end of your session, you sign it. I love that not just because it means you leave feeling good about your experience, but because your name stays on the wall — and I rotate in printed portraits of past clients there too.
